How much do you want to bet Montreal is on Holl’s no trade list

I’m not sure if he counts as a cap dump? If so would Leafs be giving up the pick?

What assurance do we have that Rasmus Sandin will sign for less than $2 million? Because that's how much cap space we have for him.

I could see a scenario where Leafs sign Sandin and the Habs claim Holl off waivers.

Dubie is telling Allvin he's getting Jason Robertson.

Vancouver doesn’t need Robertson. They can’t play him. We need Right D, Right D prospects, and 2023 picks. This does none of that

Winnipeg is the better fit for Kerfoot. See what I did there?

Enjoy it, they were addicted to sending him to NSH for what seemed like forever

There is not a world where Holl is placed on waivers. I get it, people don’t like him. Doesn’t change the fact that he 100% is an NHL calibre defenseman. At this point they probably keep him until the deadline and trade Kerfoot, but if he leaves Toronto, it’s via trade (or UFA in one year).

Actually there is a world. You just don't want to see it. Has nothing to do with liking Holl or not. It has everything to do with the Leafs having a cap problem and every GM knowing it. Price of moving Cap being sky high. But hey who needs facts, right?

But putting him on waivers doesn’t solve anything. All it does is put him on the minors. Unless he gets claimed, but if it gets to the point where he gets put on waivers, why would anyone claim him? At that point he’d be traded along with something as a cap dump.
