Description

This is a team of all the players who have been rumored to be or actually traded as "cap dumps" this offseason. Many of these players are good contributors on reasonable contracts, but due to their respective teams' cap situations and the flat cap, they either were or will be traded for less than their worth in order to shed salary. Others are "cap dumps" in the more traditional sense, where teams will likely have to pay assets to move them.

I'm curious, if this were a real team (with adjustments for cap compliance of course), how do you think they would perform? Did I miss anyone? Of the players who haven't been traded, how many do you think are dealt before the season starts? Let me know! Curious to hear people's thoughts!

Florida was rumoured to be shopping Bobrovsky early in the offseason. Not sure how that ever had the possibility of happening though.

I was thinking about making this team a little while back. It’s interesting to see that there’s some good talent on this team even though these guys have little to no to negative value

Probably missing Voracek, too. He and Nyquist were the obvious pay-someone-to-take-them candidates. Jarmo chose to flip Bjorkstrand for some picks instead.
