-Overpayment for Elliot. He won't get more than 3M in this goalie filled market with recency bias of their playoff exit as well.
-Poolman is a RHD who played a bit of left but won't be ready for the NHL season due to his surgery and then will play with the Moose
-Not that it matters but Tanev can't be offered anything less than 10-15% wage increase (I think because of CBA) of what he was making which I beleieve was 1M. Love the Irwin signing though, you'll be handcuffed in being able to resign Trouba, Morrisey, and Ehlers next year with only 7M in CAP space left and 12.5 coming off the books for 19.5M to re-sign Trouba (7.5-8.5M), Morrisey (5M?) Ehlers (6M?) then the big dogs in Laine, Wheeler and to a lesser extent Connor, Roslovic, Poolman, and Kruger the following year.
