You don't need to give up a 3rd for Copley. The Kings signed him to be the veteran option for the AHL and 3rd string for the Kings in the event of injury to Quick or Petersen. He'll have to clear waivers after training camp.

I'd decline all trades. They're bad for the Canucks especially Edmonton

I understand a desire to bring players home, but there is no way the Oilers trade RNH and Tyson Barrie for Bo Horvat, Tyler Myers, and a draft pick. Edmonton is already likely to shed at least one contract in order to get under the salary cap; they aren't going to swing a trade that puts them $1.85M further over the cap.

I like Horvat, but I think RNH represents better value for Edmonton, and Myers is at least $3,000,000 overpaid for the role he'd play with the Oilers. No thanks.
