VAN will pass on Kerfoot, but they’ll take the package you’re sending to CHI for Miller at $2.625m

Dubas empties his entire prospect pool and yeets all his first rounders for another tragic leafs first round exit. Oh yeah an then Patrick Kane walks in FA back to the USA somewhere.

Here we go again. Muzzin waives his NTC for Arizona so he can golf and suntan. 🌞

Kinda got tired of seeing all these trades for Kane that included prospects named Kale McFishfillét and 10 2nd round picks until 2035.
You gotta pay the toll to get Kane's soul, and even then, I'm waiting for a Blackhawks fan to say, "Not enough for a Stanley Cup-winning 30 goal scorer that can give you 100 points."

They would take Kerfoot, and try to move out Pearson for less if they can, if they can't worse case they waive him and he gets claimed. Free 2nd though.

When I was putting this together, it was obvious that Muzzin and his contract is the biggest anchor that Dubas has to deal with. He was injured for a big chunk of last year after being stretchered off the ice during the playoffs before. The Leafs are crowded with left-handed defenseman and Muzzin's cap hit...ooh boy Confused

Even if this were to happen, the Leafs would still take the L in the first round.

Why do the leafs need another small guy who doesn't go in the corners? Who gets the puck down low Tavares, then who is in front of the net? If the leafs trade for Kane they should firer Dubass the next day. They need a physical forward that can play in the top six.

Someone unavailable like Tom Wilson or Matthew Tkachuk or wait on Matthew Knies.

For the record though, Nylander (who he was alluding to) does go into corners just doesn't absorb hits or check in them, instead he stick checks. Stick checking is his thing in the neutral zone and in corners too.
