I would do that but I don't think the Oilers would unless they knew they could get PK or a similar RD to replace Barrie cheaper.

Barrie is an actual piece of their team not a cap dump so why would they do this?

Also suzuki is the highest paid forward going into this season in mtl, so play him on the 2nd or the 3rd or the 4th line will not change the pressure in any way. Expectations will be for him to continue progressing.

So the oilers are going to pay a first so Montreal can use Barrie on the top pairing..... ya no oilers decline very very very very hard
