Sens aren't selling their whole future on the blueline. Nobody wants to be left with Ben Roger as their top RHD prospect.

I don't know how to break this to you, but he is not an RHD.

Pretty dismal offer for Patrick Kane, Tons of contenders can offer better than that.

No 3rd team is helping out Edmonton, Rangers, Leafs with their cap issues. They'll ask for probably a 1st or 2 2nd round picks to retain 50% of the other half on Patrick Kane.

Toews is done, but for the sake of argument if COL doesn’t sign anybody they will have $18M in cap space at the TDL, so why should COL overpay for retention they don’t need?

18mil of cap? That means we can have "too many men"

It’s the TDL cap space based on the current roster accounting for accrued cap space, it won’t be that because the current roster is 11 forwards 8 dmen and 2 goalies, if they adjust with what kind of is expected ie add Meyers, send Englund & Sedlak to the AHL, have someone making around $1M as the 7th dman and about the same as the 12th forward they could theoretically add guys at the deadline with annual salaries around $14M I believe. It’s part of the reason I don’t think management is in a hurry to burn that cap space.

I was just making a bad joke with the TBL 18mil over the cap and Avs Too many men shirts. I agree, they're big game hunting this tdl.
