Even if
Kravtsov value have been reduced a little bit and People say that Ylönen is NHL ready, your right this not something each team would approve.

Currently mtl have a surplus of forward and still need to get a veteran RHD to help with the young so I think Hughes priority would be to exchange some forward to acquire a defensemen and signing Dach + Primeau.

You know what, I was doing that yesterday looking for potential trade to veterans D-man and I set some rules like must be 30+ years, low amount of contract year left etc and Justin holl was one of them he's not the best D-man at all bust he still could eat some good Minutes to help the young prospect to not be rush in jobs they're not ready for it. Holl wouldn't be hard to acquire, low cap it with only one year left ( if I'm not wrong)

The question would be if Toronto would be interesting in to trade him. There rumors that Dach would get a 3.5m for 4 years contract that mean not much $$ left to add a veteran RHD. Could Toronto add some $$ in return like an Armia or something like that.

The other idea that I fun intriguing was to make a deal with San Jose for Marc Edouard Vlassic. He's still have 4 years of 7m contract but I think there some potential to be done. Maybe the shark could keep small amount orlf cash to help them liberate some place for future resign or maybe take some cash back like an Armia, Hoffman, Dvorak contract. That is if they want to move the older D-man of course.
