Take out the salary retention on OEL and maybe there is a conversation to be had, but realistically, considering OEL appears to have at least several more serviceable years left in him, I don't think the Canucks would pay any more than a single 1st rounder to unload his salary

And i don’t think the Bruins have ever been interested in his services.

Probably not, just explaining what would be considered a fair deal from the Canucks side. Also, the Hampus Lindholm contract looks like it's gonna be rough in a few years

Lol what? $6.5M for a top pair D is rough these days? Is he going to forget how to skate at 31 or something?

And where the hell did that come from? Weird.

According to the Athletic's top 10 worst contracts, Lindholm got an honorable mention

And? Are we supposed to just take some mediocre writers honorable mention picks as gospel?

Seeing as Seabrook, OEL, Vlasic, Spurgeon, Shae Weber, Brent Burns, Nurse, Karlsson, McDonagh, Krug, Faulk, - all make more than Lindholm does and many of them worse, the same or marginally better right now - not sure how the contract is that bad.
