Gonna be real interesting to see if this team sinks or swims for the first 2-3 months of the season until Marchand, McAvoy, and Grzelcyk can get back. They're playoff hopes obviously hinge on it, especially with Ottawa knocking on the wild card door

He won’t be traded unless they are out of the race at the deadline. Even then they may not.

Yes I am sure.

Bergeron & DeBrusk were linemates last year. Krejci and Hall played together when Hall was acquire and Krejci/Pasta play together at the international level. Wagner was waived last year and played 1 game in Boston at the end of the season when they were resting guys.

So that and Montgomery himself has already said Pasta will play with Krejci and DeBrusk with Bergeron. Maybe Hall and Zacha flip, but when Marchand returns he's going next to Bergeron and Hall with Krejci. No point in breaking up Hall-Krejci-Pastrnak to start the season.

He won't be. Likely signs a 8yr deal for around $9.5 million a season. I also wouldnt be surprised if Krejci plays past this season or Bergeron for that matter. Neither guy has said this is their last year. Marchand still has a few more years on his deal as well. I could see them all calling it a career at the same time.

Who centers who and plays with who in the top 6 is small potatoes in comparison to them dealing with the McAvoy situation. He is their most skilled and most physical defenseman by a country mile as well as being their most valuable player. People are not really appreciating how much the Bruins are going to miss his presence.
