Not sure if Columbus would have any interest in TD but if this trades were to happen Vancouver would have to move someone. Figured since the Jackets lose a D he could be a bottom pair/depth option for them that can play either side. If no interest he can be moved elsewhere.

Still trying to trade away JT Miller a few hours after his 7 year extension.

Ballsy.

I would much rather have Hoglander and Klimovich than Lundkvist and Kravtsov. Those two Rangers are bigger projects than Hoglander and Klimovich and we would overall be losing value

There's no reason for the Devils to trade Walsh for a 3rd.

That particular trade was taken from another AGM that had positive response from NJ fans. The response from NJ fans was that NJ has a glut of RD and that Walsh likely can’t crack the roster. That trade did include Mike Dipetro from the Canucks who I would have no problem adding, I just don’t think MD has enough value to sway a trade. Can’t see Walsh being worth more than a late 2-3rd round pick, though they may prefer a different piece.

Yup, saw that AGM.
One guy said Walsh is expendable, no Devils fan said anything positive about the trade.
My thoughts on it:

"He's waiver exempt this year, so no need to trade him whatsoever in the present.

Also, a lot can change between now and October 2023 but I currently lean more towards having Nemec develop for two years outside the NHL rather than one.
In such a scenario Walsh would be great at filling in at 3RHD with Severson gone for next season.
Point is, there's no rush to trade Walsh away and certainly not for a 5th string goalie and a 3rd rd pick."

On top of that, in the event that Severson is moved in-season Walsh suddenly become the Devils 3RHD by default.
There really is no point for the Devils to trade him at the moment for anything less than a stupid overpayment, like the Cancuks 2023 1st or smthn.
