Not a fan of either but saw this deal on HF boards and wanted to see it

Description
As the title mentioned, saw the deal for price on HFboards (added the tweaks of signing Thorton). With the additions from ANH it makes Beaulieu, and Davidson expendable with the emergence of Sergachev. IF the Habs were able to get Thorton for two years and re-sign Radulov this deal would make a whole lot of sense for the now, as well as the future from what I can see.

Though realistically this is what some idiot ANH fan offered that would NEVER and I mean NEVER be offered in real life.

    If I was ANA I'd pass on that. I'd give you Gibson/Jones/2nd Rd Pick, but why go get a goalie and then send half the defense away for him so he has nobody playing in front of him? Not a very good deal for the Ducks and a steal for MTL

    The difference between Gibson and Price isn't Vatanen + Theodore + Jones

    Anaheim is getting bent over with that Price trade.

    That's a lot to give up for 1 year of Price, Price could easily command around $9 million to $10 million per long term on his next deal. And no way can Anaheim afford that.

    That's because Anaheim cant afford to give all that. But to ARZ e.g. he's worth that. Considering the abundance of prospects they have. But Gibson is a solid starting goalie, why even trade him??
