Svech's mic'd up videos make him worth 750k alone. Like this quite a bit for the Sharks

Changed agents yesterday, got contract today - not bad.

a) did previous agent not shop Svech enough or give Svech bad advice/unrealistic expectations, thus no contract or
b) did Svech actually switch agents earlier this summer and Milstein (new agent) didn't announce the switch until he was confident that he got his client a contract

I thought he had finally made it as a full-time NHL player last season, but I see that it’s still a 2-way contract for Andrei’s big brother. I don’t know how much choice he had, but the fact that San Jose is a weaker team that’s close to the cap probably increases his chance of staying in the NHL. If not, then at least it’s a raise at the AHL level if nobody picks him up on waivers.

Svech was never a great skater and then blew out his knee which is really too bad because he had a lot of promise. It's a fine signing for their AHL team and he can sub in on the 4th line when needed.

When Svechnikov got ice time last season he looked very good before Dave Lowry chose to show him down the lineup for literally no reason
