Av’s literally have the 2nd last pick to get him off Waivers, pretty sure that’s not happening

There's a good chance that he gets waived. Though Texier not playing this year should improve Foudy's chances of sticking. Fwiw his contract structure seems designed to make it less appealing to other teams to claim him, since if he doesn't take the next step he'd be an expensive AHLer in 2023/24.

There's always a few decent players who pass through waivers each October. Most rosters are already full and the Avs are one of the few teams with a roster spot or two still open, so I'd expect them to keep their eyes on the waiver wire early on. If they have a poor start to the season they could also be close to the top of the waiver wire again, just like last year when they started poorly and got to pick NAK off waivers.

Foudy sucks, you can have him. The only thing going for him is his speed, other then that he’s a below average player.

That being said he is only 22 so maybe he could still develop into something, I just don’t have much hope for him in Columbus as he isn’t a center and they have plenty of wings. Honestly it would probably do him good to be claimed off waivers.

realisticly, if a GM wants him, i dont think his ahl salary will play a factor in any decision. but that just my opinion.
