In what world is Keller worth more than Kyrou, let alone two 1sts and three other picks more valuable? The Blues don't have the cap, either, but they would reject this like a mofo even if they did. That trade should go straight up on the AGM Twitter account promptly.

Should help Dallas out some more and take seguin also lol. I hope Arizona does get aggressive to be bad, or worse and load up on next 3/4 drafts, stink up the college barn. Could be a force by new barn or new city. Kind of like a Quebec to colorado explosion.

I'd rather have Kyrou than Keller and certainly not adding all of that on top of him.

Honestly, top 10 protect that 2023 first round pick (changes to 2024 if we're top 10) and you have yourself a deal. Would even upgrade the 7th + 4th round picks to a 3rd rounder to make it happen.

Setting aside that this doesn't automatically make one more valuable, he has yet to have a season as good as the one Kyrou had last season.

First of all, the Yotes weren't too bad in 18/19 and 19/20 (which were actually his worst seasons). Secondly, Kyrou spent the clear majority of last season on Schenn's line. None of which really matters, because you're just cherry picking a few arbitrary things that don't actually back the assertion and pretending it's a closed case. Kyrou is the better all-around player, and one who is still rising to his ceiling, plus Keller is straight off a nasty fractured leg injury/surgery.

And by the way, Schmaltz was also better than Keller last season.

fair enough but keller has been thriving in an unthriveable (is this a word?) situation imo.

Not sure playing mostly with younger Derek Stepan, Schmaltz, Garland, Hot Dog Phil, Chych, etc. qualifies as unthrivable (not a word). It may not be top tier linemates, but it's not like he's been out there with total slugs. In any event, Kyrou is also elite at rush chances and zone exits/entries, where as Keller is a solid 30 % behind him in these areas.

Even if Keller showed up, I doubt I'd want him with Thomas. We need shooters and net raiders with Thomas. Keller ain't that. Now, Keller and Kyrou together with a strong two way C could be frightening.
