Hughes>barzy>hischier
Remember every team needs someone so you cant take out all flyers.
And pulock>>>>severson though pulock probably doesnt make it with fox, letang, and carlson ahead of him

Severson and Puloch would be in similar tier of dmen, I’d think. I wouldn’t quibble with anyone preferring Puloch, but don’t think there is a big gap there. The Islander is better in his own zone. The Devil is better in neutral zone. Maybe a wash in o-zone.

Barzal is better at Nico in stick-handling.

You cant possibly believe severson is close to pulock. Not a single metric supports that claim.

Huh?

Pts, Rushes, zone denial rate, G/60, A/60, Pts/60, Takeaways/60, ixG/60, TOI, xG/60, CF%, FF%, SF%, xGF%, SCF%, HDCF%, MDCF%...

There are many.

Pulock has better numbers for hits, shots blocked, and better goaltending behind him.

Absolutely pathetic. TOI like fr? And putting things /60 doesmt make them better stats. Goals assists and points arent very good indicators of play. At a certain point you did get to better stats but im just gonna leave this here.

If you want to use WAR data, be my guest.
Just realize that Pulock's advantage is solely from the difference in penalties.

Penalty WAR
Severson: -0.31
Pulock: +0.47

Severson drew an unusually amount of penalties (too few) and Pulock was penalized only once.
Outside of that, Severson was better.
Severson was better in even-strength situations (both offensively and defensively).
Severson was better on special teams too.

Even-strength WAR:
Severson: +0.53
Pulock: +0.30

Power Play WAR:
Severson: + 0.33
Pulock: +0.16

Short-handed WAR:
Severson: + 0.09
Pulock: -0.01

Total WAR (ex-Pen)
Severson: 0.95
Pulock: 0.46

Idk where youre getting your numbers from but i literally just posted both their player cards and pulock is better in almost every category. 5v5 defence, PP, PK, penalty differential, and total war. As for 5v5 offence theyre really close as severson is only 7 percentiles higher than pulock.
