if he's healthy, Ottawa could use a vet depth player, and cap space isn't a problem for them this season.

Really don't wanna trade Arturri Czechonen... But I guess this is fair. Can't we given them Kidney instead?

would rather give kidney cause I don't think he has a spot on the team in the future, but I feel like mysak is the more valuable prospect right now and New York would actually be interested.

Side note I highly doubt mysak ever comes close to being as good as lehky.

Mysak had an amazing WJC and he could play in the NHL this season on a 3rd line and do all the right things defensively.

He's one of the only forward prospects in our pipeline right now "guaranteed" to play in the NHL for a lot of years. Others may make it and play higher in the lineup, but he's NHL ready now, at least according to the Habs Eyes On The Prize crew. No telling how good he can be.

Ive done my fair share of scouting on mysak and I do agree that hes going to be a reliable 3-4th liner in the NHL one day but I'm not too sure I agree that he would be an efficient 3rd liner as of today... Maybe in 2 years after some AHL development, sure.

I, myself, have done zero scouting. Everything you read from me is hearsay from those more knowledgeable than myself.

A 3rd line LW in 2 years to play behind Slafkovsky and ... Maybe Dvorak/Monahan if one is still around sounds perfect. Give him 2 years in Laval to cure.

The thing about Lundkvist is he seems like a "toolsi" player who does not play a well-rounded game. Is he gonna be needed in 2 years? Is he any better than Wideman?
