It could but really it was just a different take than what always shows up. To get a solid RHD, any team has to pay up (the 1st) and Myers is better than Zaitsev. DiPietro isn't really anything but a hopeful piece. Certainly Sens have to make a move if Zub is gone but they'd have draft capital to utilize for that. Zub might be interested in Van given the Russian group there.

Getting Myers would be a stop gap and at least a better option than Zaitsev

Making that swap has some value, but not a lot since Myers has a 1.5 additional AAV
