So you traded for Boqvist (which is nowhere near good value) to keep him as the 9th man?

Sabres decline. Asplund is a great player for the future. Bryson is a bottom six d-man for Buffalo.

Jackets aren’t trading Boqvist for Calgary to have him as a 7th d-man.

Tanev is also injured to start the season.

Flames wouldn't be interested and have no need for the 2 BUF Players

Boqvist might be nice, but I don't see the fit. He's an Offensive RD who lacks the ideal Size & Physicality CGY/Sutter likes and we already have Andersson & Weegar; although I wish they could score at the same clip as Boqvist did last season, but I highly doubt a 17.2 Shot % is sustainable

Why is Lindholm not 1C? The entire point of adding Kadri was to have center depth.

Good
Bc there’s ZERO CHANCE the Sabres do that deal

That’s gonna be a hard “no” from the Sabres
No reason we’d be interested in either of those prospects
And we likely aren’t trading Asplund

Really? When did he get any Selke votes? Clearly neither side is happy with this proposal anyway. Let’s agree to just let it die.

Given the same # of Games and Ice Time, Ruzicka would have Scored 20 Goals + 20 Assists for 40 Points = 0.50PPG. He also had a Positive +/- even though he was playing with Lucic, so my view is Ruzicka is the Better Player. Just an opinion, but yes, the BUF-CGY Trade idea can certainly die
