Too big of a gap experience wise; and since Niko is already an established #2 center (or 1B depending upon how you look at it) then my vote is for him.

Cole can close the gap this year but the Blue Jackets plan at Center is probably one of the most confusing things in pre-season (across the NHL for "lineup projections").

Huh, they aren’t even close, Sillinger has a lot of upside but Hischier’s a lot more established and has proved he’s good, I have high hopes for Silly but he’s not Hischier level yet
