I don't know, Drury is a hard ass. He didn't trade Kravtsov last year even thou most people thought so. I am sure he will keep Lundkvist around, unless he can get what he want's.

As I understand the price is a younger top 9 center that can stay and grow in the NYR org. And I don't think he is that interested in anything else.

So I guess that is the price.

As for Kravtsov I haven't heard anything about asking price, so beats me...

Necas - probably not on the block and we are full at the forward position anyways.

Kravstov - 3rd or similar valued prospect, someone like Heineman or Fairbrother

Lundkvist- 2nd or Mysak type of prospect

I mean they traded a 22 year old for a 21 year old there, thats more a swap. Can't imagine someone like Necas would be of high interest at 23 when they don't exactly have anyone they can swap this time

the point is it wasnt a romanov for Dach swap, they took assets they had and figured out a path to get the player they wanted in Dach. A similar thing could happen here, because as you said Necas at 23 is very much a piece you would acquire for the future, so would still fit into the rebuild depending on what the price is.
I would say theres very little chance of the Montreal and Carolina discussing a trade anytime soon even with new management but that has nothing to do with the habs rebuild.

Necas is probably not for sale

Kravtsov is not for sale yet, NYR will play him this season hope he thrives and sell high in the offseason

Lundkvist would be Mysak + 4th imo

Considering Montreal only has a total of 4 assets that would even remotely interest the Canes enough to trade Necas, and Montreal wont consider trading any of them without a significant overpay, Necas won’t be heading to Montreal.
