Accordingly to some speculation, Drury rubs a lot of the younger players the wrong way and is a little too worried about exerting authority instead of trying to develop players.

It would be a mistake to trade Dvorak for that return. Dach isnt a sure thing. They are in no rush to deal Christian as they have the cap flexibility with Price on LTIR. They have too many wingers not centers. A 2nd rounder would be more than enough for Lundkvist and Kratsov doesnt have much value. Drury needs to trade them if the Rangers arent going to play them, it's only fair so the return will be meagre.

Kinda like Fox, although we was really good, his value wasn't high since he wasn't playing for his clubs.

But Kravtsov was asking for a trade before Drury. As did Lias Andersson.

Kravtsov was definitely a problem child with his behavior.

Lundkvist hasn't really been a pain at all. He has more of a realistic gripe regarding his future in the organization, given all the proven talent in front of him.

Would personally prefer him to battle and Win that final D spot over Jones and Robertson, rather than trying to skip town before Training Camp. Show him giving the effort to make the club, while also showcasing his talents to improve his trade stock.

. . . and with just a little over a million dollars in cap space, NY doesn't want $5.2 million in more cap hits.

Easy pass from the Rangers. The whole reason Lundkvist asked for a trade is there's a logjam ahead of him at RD (Fox-Trouba-Schneider) so if the Rangers are moving him out, why would they take back another RHD in Wideman? And even if you ignore the cap, Dvorak would be a clear 3C behind Mika Zibenajad and Vincent Trocheck, so coupled with his $4.45M he's not a super attractive option at that price. As it stands, adding Dvorak's cap means the Rangers would have to dump Filip Chytil and at least one more contract to get under the cap - and Dvorak isn't that great of a player that you put yourself in a position to have to make *multiple* moves to accommodate him.

For starters yea, Dvo isn't likely to be moved honestly. Regardless of reports, he has more value to MTL than his "perceived" value.

Lundqvist wants out because of the RD depth of the Rangers so highly unlikely they take Wideman for him.

A centre prospect is most likely, throw in the pick for Krav and to fill in the gap between talent/positional premiums.

I'm on board for Lundqvist 150% but this isn't close to the deal that will bring him to MTL imo.

Why go in details about how bad you trade is when I can just state the obvious: NYR don't have capsace or need a center.
