How could the Ducks say no to a deal like that?

Gawdin for Zucker is dubious, but maybe Pittsburgh adds the New Jersey third.

Listen, kid, teams don't trade young, cheap players for over the hill veterans unless they need the intangibles that the veteran brings.

The Ducks don't need that from Zucker, and he underperforms his contract. Terry is much younger, and over performs his contract. In the modern cap world, Terry has strong positive value, and Zucker has strong negative value. The difference would have to be paid in draft picks. Zucker for Terry would probably be your 2023 and 2024 1sts given how late Pitt usually drafts.

Because the OP is apparently 12 and doesn't fully understand what he's doing.
