Why would you trade lysell your 1 great prospect for an old defenseman, not a good idea.

seriously, completely underwhelmed by this!

also, to comply with the requested ratings:

-unnecessary trade? Keyser is a depth goalie at best right now, and the Islanders have Ken Appleby and Jakub Skarek to be their AHL tandem currently. If I'm the Islanders, I honestly don't *hate* swapping 4th rounders and getting a 23 year old goalie, because he's still young enough to pop off into something useful, but this feels like a trade for the sake of a trade. Isles accept but don't se why Boston offers this unless they're at the 50 contract limit.

-I get the impression that Jakub Zboril/Connor Clifton will be manning RD3 behind McAvoy/Carlo, so I totally get this move as a deadline deal if you want to shore up that position. Studnicka hasn't translated his AHL production to the NHL, but hasn't had much of an opportunity - I could see Philly being a team that has the ice time for him to see if he's worth it. I don't get the picks here, though - too many moving parts. Studnicka and a 3rd for Braun probably nails it, without the extra pick swap.

-Boston has a very busy depth chart at LD. I don't see any reason to give up any sort of assets to bring Michael Kempny in. And even if the entire LD depth chart falls into the Springfield Mystery Spot, this is an overpay for Kempny - you can probably just throw a single 4th/5th at Seattle to get him, and take out Oskar Steen and all these pick swaps.

-Easy no from Boston, this is their best prospect for a 36 year old LHD - again, even with Grz hurt, you still have Hampus Lindholm, Mike Reilly, Derek Forbort, and Jakub Zboril as left-shot D that you can easily plug in. Zero need to trade any assets for Goligsoki, much less your best trade chip.

The biggest thing I'd say is these really scream Playstation trades to me - we all love mixing and matching picks to get the best value out of our drafts, but no real life NHL GM is going to include all of these back-and-forths with picks in every trade.

Welcome to ACGM!

What you are forgetting a player like Alex born in Minnesota with complete NMC contract isn't waiving

I think OP is referencing NHL 22 in his title.

They make that trade no matter what. They get positive value in the draft picks then also Oskar Steen who is worth probably a 3rd

On a scale of 1 to 10:
Trade 1- 2
Trade 2- 1
Trade 3- 0
Trade 4- 0

It’s really bad for NHL 22 as well.
