Perrault is out of the question for the Ducks. Would do a Gawdin or Groulx, maybe you can convince us to part with Gaucher. The fact that he got leap frogged by another defenseman isn't a great look though.

dellandrea makes the most sense for both sides, don't see another obvious fit.

Los Angeles isn't in the market for a RhD with Durzi, Spence, Clarke and Grans in the pipeline.

Pastujov and Perreault are out of the question. I doubt that Anaheim would trade you Tracey, Gaucher (size at center!) or Colangelo, but Groulx and McLaughlin are on the table for sure.

Nils plus doesn’t get you Bourque imo. Swapping prospects of different skill levels doesn’t work. Nils and a third for Bourque is a no go for the same reason Dellandrea and a third for Schneider would be a no go

And with Doughty and Roy an RD is the last thing they are looking for.

Zero chance Detroit considers Niederbach in the deal, Lundkvist and Veleno were both taken late in the 1st round. 1 for 1 is more than fair.

Sorry should’ve put a disclaimer on them. Those were just individual targets for each team so wasn’t expecting both guys. I’d be ok 1 for 1 for Veleno. Niederbach I’d probably want a little added to make the deal

Yeah I agree wasn’t expecting both. Just two guys I’d be interested in taking in a deal

Niederbach is looking like he will be boom or bust. If he makes it to the NHL, Rangers win the deal by a mile. Veleno could be a real fit in NYR, and he might quickly become the 2C wanted him to be. Detroit gets the safe choice, NYR gets the potential upside.

Problem is, Nils is gonna run into the same play time roadblocks in Detroit as in NY. Seider is PP1, Hronek PP2. Top 4 appears to be set at Seider, Hronek, Charoit, and Maata. I doubt Edvinsson makes the team, but if he does, it will be to be in the top 4, and Nils gets squeezed out even further.
