If the Leafs trade Holl, It's too cut cap space not to take more on.

And Holl isn't a top pairing RD, He's a bottom pairing RD.

You’re right, bottom six plug that would be better than all of your other bottom 6 plugs

Yeah a 20 Point player is way better than the 30+ point bottom 6 we have right?

Still don’t see them making it.

My lines are…

Miller - Pettersson - Boeser
Kuzmenko - Horvat - Garland
Mikheyev - Dickinson - Podkolzin
Hoglander - Joshua - Lazar

Hughes - Schenn
OEL - Myers
Dermott - Holl

Demko - Martin

I don’t think this makes sense for the leafs (can’t take on cap) but he’s a middle six guy that can put up 40 points. (41 point pace last year) he’s not a “20 point guy”

Yeah. I don’t see Toronto touching this trade, but I think Pearson is a better player then portrayed

I agree i was just voicing my distain using a exaggeration to further explain why the trade was pointless from Toronto’s persepctive

I will say, if he was cheaper I think the Leafs would have really liked him. Hard forechecker that’s great in a defensive role with a strong two way game
