I’m kind of “meh” as CBJ. Karlsson been on the down-swing. I’d be more interested if you guys were maybe taking on Voracek or something, help us with our cap situation.

Time for a list of reasons.

1. Karlsson isn’t worth that little. He’s still a very solid player, not the player he was in the first year he came to. Vegas but still good.
2. Martinez won’t waive to head to SEA.
3. McNabb is worth ,or that that little IMO.
4. What the **** is that Stone trade.

Boone isn’t getting moved, and don’t really need more Gs with Tarasov ready for NHL time. NGL, this is an easier pass than before.

It was Robinson and a 3rd for Karlsson with I think $1.5M retained.

Even with retention, not sure Karlsson’s contract is aging that well. Had it been a cap-swap move for Jake (VGK gets the higher cap hit, but is out from the contract sooner, vice versa for CBJ) I would have been more interested. Maybe JG and Laine bring his game back, or he can act as a solid middle-six C, maybe allow Boone to go back to the W or something.

Karlsson is of no value. 5 years of 6m for 30ish points, you will have to pay to get rid of that in full.
