Evans doesn’t have the players to get him pass that line in Mtl, Avs do…And the fact they are looking for someone to run the third or fourth line they’ll pay more as they did with Lek especially for his cap hit. It’ll still be a late pick.

Man, bottom roster players from montreal have thr craziest values round here.
Terrible for Colorado, 4th liners like evans are worth a 3rd max at the deadline and half that in the off season on their best day

Colorado need to be careful about adding a bottom 6 player with a $1.7m caphit beyond 2023.

They're going to need all the capspace they can in 2023 when raises for Mackinnon, Byram, Newhook, and Meyers kick in, and Evans' caphit is ~$700k-$1m more than they should be paying a 4C.
