if ellis was playing aswell they would have a top 5 defensive core

forward core is decent aswell
couts/ konecny/ farabee are al very good

you are also missing bobby brink who is a young bright spot for their team same with cates should be in the line-up.

if hart could turn things around they could be a competitive team but they play in the deepest division in the league where literally every team is gonna be competing for a PO spot.

Around 10-16 if they had Ellis, not top5. Konecny and Farabee are 2nd liners and Couturier is the only top forward. Forward group isn't good enough.

idk ellis would definitely help out provorov's game a lot and i think they would be a very good 1st pairing.
deangelo and sanheim is a very strong 2nd pairing and
braun is exactly the strong defensive vet you would want guiding york on the 3rd pair

The forwards group isnt awesome and I do t think you can keep the puck out of your own net consistently enough to make a difference. You're not gonna be a good team but maybe torts pulls something off.
