Man, Boqvist and especially McLeod would need a massive improvement to get $2m. I don't see McLeod ever being an actual 3C option at this point. He's barely a 4C.

Too many dead weight UFAs that don't mean much. There are so many young guys that can make a contribution next year, including the big one here being Zetterlund (who should be here this year), Gritsyuk, and even Foote.

I'm not a big UFA guy, but unless Okhotiuk or Bahl prove to be on pace to force Brendan Smith out (who the Devils should have as the goal to be a 7D), then get another LHD for the tough minutes. Luke may be awesome offensively, but he's not going to be a 1st liner out of the gate.
