Anderson signed for $1M, we have $3M in cap space.

If Durzi is moved it won’t be for prospects and picks, it will be a Fiala type deal where we move Durzi+ for a young top-4 LD.

-I can't see the Kings trading for *more* futures at this point. If they're moving a young player with RFA rights like Durzi, I can only see it making sense if they're upgrading to a better caliber of NHL player - they have so many young bodies vying for ice time already, it doesn't make sense to accumulate even MORE. As far as the cap implications, all the Kings need to do is bridge Durzi at $2Mish and send down Jordan Spence to make the room for him. They have room to play with, I don't know why it's not done yet, but they're not gonna just send him out for whatever they can get at this point.

-Carolina doesn't have the cap space to make this happen; beyond that, asking someone to take on 3x$3.4M at this point is going cost more than a pair of mid-round picks - as a Habs fan who just saw your team get paid a 1st to take $6.375M worth of Sean Monahan, why would you think it would cost less for another team to take on $10.2M?

-There's a lot of reasons Seattle passes on this one - the most obvious one is that Chris Driedger is out for most of the season and I can't see a team that spent as much as they did this summer wanting to go into the year with a Cayden Primeau/Martin Jones tandem in net. Grubauer also has a full NTC and I can't see him wanting to waive it one year into a 6 year deal.

We would consider Sean Durzi for Kaiden Guhle because Durzi is two years ahead of Guhle in development. But I highly doubt you'd want to trade Guhle when you're so far away from contending again and he fits your timeline better.

The only player the Kings would have been willing to trade Durzi for is Romanov, but that's obviously no longer an option.
