I like it as an Avs fan, any way you could throw in Liam to reunite some brothers?

The Avs dont really have space for Nyquist up front and Bean is a downgrade on Girard this season. In the 2023 offseason maybe they make a Girard trade but I cant see one happening now

This is an easy decline by the avs, girard for parts isn’t a deal they would entertain

I don't want any Jenners or Kardashians on this team. Don't need that toxicity

Hard to ignore point. Just noticed Avs could play Moose with Goose. Maybe add in Lehk the Snek.

would rather not trade a 30 goal scoring center for a bottom 4 offensive defenseman when the jackets are already mostly offensive defensemen

you don't want to trade your middle 6 forward for a #3d?

The jackets have plenty of mid- and below tier, what they need is good RD to pair with Werenski. Wouldn't say that's Girard. And Jenner's the captain for a young team. There are reasons to decline a Jenner/Girard swap beyond just the stat sheet.

i get that but calling jenner a 30g center and girard a bottom 4 d is marketing at it's finest.

a #3 D is a bottom 4 D sir. And I'd argue Manson is a better choice for #3 on the Avs. Boone Jenner has had 30 goals before and was on that pace last year. He may suck at defense but the offense is there. And clearly Girard wasn't a major piece for the Avs to win the cup, they played the latter half of the playoffs without him

Jenner definitely does not suck on defense. I don't care what fancy stats you may or may not be looking at. He's always skating hard, good at being in the right position and is one of the toughest in the league on the puck. The only part of Jenner's game that is missing is offensive playmaking ability. He is a tenacious backchecker, forechecker and has good hands to score.
