Would the habs give up Farrell? Maybe. I think its close to fair but COL declines at the end

Yeah i think you answered your own question there, with the addition of e-rod there isn't really a need for dvorak anymore. I think colorado goes in with their depth at d and keep girard for playoffs

Few reasons:
-Erod does what Dvorak does but cheaper and no term. Even without Erod, they have no room for Dvorak.
-Norlinder holds little to no value outside of mtl. Gotta see what he can do in N.A pro hockey. Not saying he will be bad.
-Farrell is 5.6ft and will take too long to mature to make it worth it for the Avs. Props for the OG tho.
-The two 4th round picks are confusing. Theyre for Mcdermids and Namestinkovs, not for acquiring Mtl's top pair dman.
-Dvorak is at too high of a cap hit and term with Mack, Byram, Newhook and Meyers.
-Dvorak is a 3c and Avs have JTC at 1m less aav and no term.

If MTL wants Girard for Dvorak, Guhle would have to be added.

It doesnt make much sense anymore after the Rodrigues signing. If anything a Girard trade will come next offseason

TBH, I think Montreal declines. Girard and Dvorak IMO have close to the same value, maybe you could pry out a 2nd from the Habs but not more than that.

I mean value wise that’s a lot of quantity and not a lot of high quality. Let’s be objective off of what you did, you out him as a top pairing dman but gave up a 3C, 2 late picks, a small forward prospect and a d prospect that is starting to age out, how is any of that appealing to a cup contender?
