Both teams decline those trades offers quite easily

That's a lot of Rookie/Sophomores in top positions.

Unlikely PLD signs an 8 year extension at below market value or that the Jets trade him for less that his TDL return value.

Dubois wouldn’t get more than Dvorak + B prospect + 2023 1st with 1 year left on his deal. Very unlikely .

Kidney is a centre and had 100pts in the Q at age 18.

Yeah. Let them play meaningful minutes. Even if they don’t make the playoffs, it can be a growth year. A stress free season, with no expectations

I get where your coming from, IMO though i feel that the only way Montreal would give up future assets is if they acquire Dubois with an extension; and for that reason i feel it would a cost a bit more

Wish the Jets would just trade Dubois now, waiting isn't going to increase his value and they're going nowhere as is anyway.

Agree with this. 2023 picks are so good . Anyone who has 2-3 1sts in 2023 is very lucky

They would get a better offer than that at the TDL that would better suit their needs. Teams ignore trade values at the deadline as we have seen many times before, look at Chiarots return last year.

Pretty sure Kiviharju is like the consensus #1 at this point. Everyone has been saying it

Lundkvist isnt gettig a haul when Drury is trying to be fair and adhere to his trade demands. They want a young center and Kidney is that kind of prospect with upside. Lundkvist is an offensive dman that is hit or miss much like Kidney, both need some size to go with their scoring. They have the same type of issues.

PLD if traded isnt getting a Laine return, this will be 3 teams now in his young career after the same issues in juinior demanding out. That return would be the absolute max of a 1st and a top9 center. If Jets arent careful they'll get much less as the cap isnt suppose to rise til 2024, teams dont have the money for him. You saw the return of Bjorkstrand and Pacioretty!!

Corey Pronman said today Celebrini is probably the guy.

He's 5'9"
He doesnt look like much.
You had a super talented guy like Lane Hutson at 5'9" that just went in the 2nd round and scouts agreed he was a top15 talent at least!
