Maybe a third? Don't see him having a ton of value with likely better trade or free agent options out there.

Probably nothing unfortunately. We've seen how valuable cap space is right now, with the cap having been so stagnant these past seasons. If he returns to form maybe one of the few teams with cap left would give up a 4th or a 3rd for him

I'm aware. The cap is only going up by 1 million next season. It won't be until 2024 that cap space will be less valuable

Considering that’s a lot of ifs, even if somehow all those ifs managed to come true, at best a 3rd from a team that has cap space. Since those ifs are quite unlikely to come true, he likely would still have to be dumped.

Guys, Muzzin has a full NTC. The only scenario I see him moving is if they waive him and someone picks him up for free.

So you ask for people’s opinions and proceed to ignore them in place of your own. Interesting. I mean, I guess it makes sense that you don’t want to face reality. Nobody is going to want to give up anything for a dman on the wrong side of 30 who can’t stay healthy. And nobody is going to help Toronto out of a cap hell born of their own stupidity for free. Especially since even with a M-NTC, he would only waive or want to go to contenders, and those same contenders don’t have the space for him. Business 101 is you don’t give up assets for question marks, unless the potential reward is too good to refuse. Muzzin isn’t too good to refuse, so unless you are attaching a late first/ early second to him, can’t see many teams lining up for his services.

That being said, if Muzzin plays the full 82 game season, I’m willing to adjust my view. Until then, you might want to try facing the reality that lies in front of you. Cheers.

The Reality is that he needs to be dumped, that was what you said, Idk where i didn’t listen to peoples opinions but ok, I took a collective & the collective saying was a Cap Dump or FC, I think Muzzin with 1 year left to a team with cap-space for FC would be fine (that depends how the market is in a year, I see it normalizing) as i’ve seen worse deals traded for less. That being said if you want to call this “A problem born of their own stupidity” When signing Muzzin until he was 34-35 seemed pretty reasonable at the time, no one expected such a drastic change in his form or injury trouble or a dead cap for 3 seasons but what can you do, I say in a year Muzz for FC or Muzz & a 3rd or 4th for FC
