absolutely not from the avs

They have 0 need or want for Drouin, they arent burning all their cap space to put them into a spot that they cant even call up 1 guy if there is an injury
and in no way would Drouin ever take anyones spot on the top line

Come on Drouin on Colorados top line BHAHAHAHA that's funny . If the NHL didn't swap nets after each period Drouins skates wouldn't touch half the ice .

I'd love to know why you think that? They jump on dumping Him if they can.

For Habs fans it's more letting him play, seeing if he can have any improvement and moving him at the deadline. 'Dumping" him or letting him at doesn't really matter since they don't have cap issues and his contract is done at the end of the year.

Can't see MSL being happy (with the way he played) with a guy who plays with absolutely no heart, and that has been Drouin since he first took the ice in TB. His next great back check will be his first. The selfish me first Primadona garbage is a cancer that needs to be removed from the body.

I wont argue about disapointement.
But i can tell you, its not "no Heart".
No need to shame the guy even more.
Other way, you are just a piece of garbage.

AVS would MUCH rather have capspace right now than Drouin.

He hasn't been dramatic at all, nor has he been selfish from what I have seen as a Habs fan. Put in situations that were set up to fail? Yes, been expected to do a lot more then he was actually capable of? Yes

He's a good enough guy, people just want to tear him down because he isn't a star. He's a 50 point, pass first forward, nothing wrong with that just isn't a star player.

Where the hell are you getting that? Management has been explicit about not wanting to dump anyone.

The difference between these assumptions and the commentary around the individuals in question is rather jarring.

Thats not accurate
You just dont take you Mustang out in the field to plow and race your Work Horse at the Track.

Drouins advance metrics are all positive outside Goal Scoring which makes sense given he was always a playmaker.
He thrived in Junior beside deep goal scoring depth, did the same in TBL
In MTL though he's had if he's lucky 1-2 goal scorers a year on his team and usually not on his line.

Even stats reviews from The Athletic that hate Drouin boast his 1st line playmaking ability (while simotenously saying he cant play more then middle 6 minutes )
MTL isnt going to trade him now anyways Hughes already said that if a move was made it would be for a player with Term not a pending UFA before the TDL.
More likely to move Evans then we are Drouind at this point

Cooper glued his A$$ to the bench in the last 5 minutes of games if TB had any lead at all and sent him to Syracuse in his 3rd season because he sucked defensively. (An assignment he selfishly refused.)

They have no problem to keep him and it's a pretty safe bet to think he'll have better value at the deadline

Good luck biggest mistake Yzermsm made and smartest trade he ever made as lightning GM both involved Drouin Mistake drafting him over Jones best trade stealing Sergachev for him.

If I'm Colorado I hang up if Hughes starts talking Drouin. . This isn't a pending UFA this is a 22year old on an ELC who has looked good in both his NCAA career and in his rookie AHL season
