I like Ryan but NYR don't really need a player like him. Centers and young, that is what Drury wants/needs.
The d core is pretty much set.

I would not want to disagree with your assessment as you know more about the Rangers than I.
Johnson is not as good as Jones, or Miller but probably better than Lindgren or Hájek.
Lundkvist may be better than Johnson anyway.
