Barring any serious injuries or crazy drop off in production, TOR will be adding at the deadline.

Just saying VGK can match this thanks to Lehner being on LTIR.

As rn VGK need to spend to about 12.857m over the cap to maximize LTIR relief rn they are at 10mill.

Why is San Jose buying at the deadline? They likely have a top 5 pick, they aren’t buying and giving up a good asset for rental.

First of all, the Kings and Ducks will never be trade partners.

Second, I wouldn't trade Spence for a Klingberg rental 1-for-1. Certainly not adding a 1st round pick. What does LA want with another RHD?

With Patrick and an AHL call up forward to have 14 F, sending Thompson back down to the AHL to carry 2 goalies, and currently having D on contract, they are sitting at 2.6 mil in cap space. For a team that's as injury prone as the Knights, I wouldn't consider carrying an undersized roster.

Kings are a poor choice of trade partner for Klingberg, they already have a way more RD than they need, theres no reason for them to pick up.

San Jose is also not likely, I think everyone knows they are about to enter a long, LONG dark period. Vlassic has a 3 team trade list next season, they are retaining burns for 3 years, and still have the EK's Albatross of a contract weighting them down and the Jones buyout. If we are going to do a deal with San Jose, I want to pry Meier from them.

Vegas would probably match that since they can and it wouldn't be too difficult to clear enough room to have that next season. I just don't know if Hague accepts that. If it were 2-3 years, maybe. But that term would mean that he is not at all betting on himself to improve, which he will.

Title says Hague and deadline, so I naturally assumed the trade deadline.

VGK are used to it they have played with less than a 20 man team multiple times.

Patrick is going on LTIR as his concussion issues havent improved (reported months ago) so add him to the pool of 12.857mill they need to spend. Factoring other things they need to spend 13mill to maximize space. So Probs expect them to do that soon with Hague as I dont see why he wouldnt have a spot

Los Angeles is the LAST team that will be trying to acquire John Klingberg.

Anaheim is the last team that will agree to acquire Justin Holl without a serious incentive. And Toronto shouldn't, and probably won't, have to pay that price.

If Patrick plays another NHL game it would be surprising.
