This makes very little sense for the Sabres.

Sanheim is a UFA next offseason and a LHD, and Samuelsson is already well on his way to being just as solid but 4 years younger.

Provorov is redundant when Buffalo already has Dahlin and Power who are both LHD.

Hart has a lot of potential, but hasn't looked great the past couple of seasons, and UPL could provide Buffalo the same or close to the same level of play as soon as this season.

No problem with Konecny, great player. But combined with a bunch of parts like 2 LHD when LD is their one strength makes this a terrible trade.
