    Having both johnston and stankoven in the top 6 playing big important minutes in their D+3 years is ambitious.

    Agreed, but they also have little to no money left. Five to six million or so, and imo finding a good D-man is of higher importance, especially if Miller or Suter declines.

    I surely hope that Bourque will not play with these two players on a 4th line.

    LOL he’s playing some of the best hockey of his career! If he has a 22/23 anywhere close to his 21/21 I don’t see any reason he retires.

    Hey if he wants to stay with a reasonable contract and keeps his current level I'm more than happy to keep him.

    Just in this hypothetical scenario he retires. He is turning 39 the next year after all.

    yea no I get that, hell i was convinced the 3 year deal you guys signed with him was a huge mistake, then the 2020 playoffs and last 2 years proved I was dead wrong! the fountain of youth he drinks from must be strong!

    This shows why we need to dump Faksa. Adding Severson and not dumping Suter is also a mistake imo. Too much money on the back end
