Way overvaluing Yamamoto and Dvorak. Bottom six players aren't all that enticing for a top 4 RHD.

I do have one main question for this ACGM: If Montreal is looking for an RHD, and Winnipeg is willing to trade an RHD in Neal Pionk for a package headlined by Christian Dvorak, why wouldn't Montreal just trade for the 27 year old Pionk over the 31 year old Tyson Barrie? They are both offensive RHDs, the only difference is that Pionk is younger and would fit more into the window I assume that the Canadiens are aiming to return to contention in. And as far as Winnipeg goes, if they're willing to take a package that's Dvorak++, I think that Montreal could easily offer a package that beats Yamamoto/Dvorak/2023 2nd - they have a ton of young forwards on ELC that are close enough to NHL-ready that they can throw a pair of them in with Dvorak and still have a strong prospect group.

There's going to be a list of 3rd round pick all stars coming. The other list of 3rd rounders is longer. I'm with you.

They're both middle six players. Regardless neither one is worth it for Winnipeg to lose a RHD that's signed for 3 more seasons
