Agreed, especially with Batherson being quiet as well witg the ongoing investigation. Dorian is needing to build depth with 2 top 9 players possibly unavailable.
Motte is a great player. Pitches in with goals, great plays, hits and a speedy and aggressive play. He is great in bottom 6 and will definitely improve the PK for Ottawa
Worth pointing out that Alex Formenton remains unsigned amidst the allegations from the 2018 World Juniors. Could well be that this is to cover their bases so they don't end up with Parker Kelly or Austin Watson on the 3rd line which wouldn't be ideal at all.
Batherson too. So Ottawa might need to fill a couple forward spots.
