CF knows their waiver statuses, he's waiver eligible
That's confusing then, I didn't think it was really possible for a 22 year old with 1 game of NHL play would now be eligible for waivers. I'll have to look at it further
Edit: sooooooo, ****
Due to Alexeyev being born on November 15, 1999, he was considered 19 by the NHL when he signed the ELC despite being 18 when drafted. He has burned through the 4 seasons he had of waiver exemption, so although he is still on his ELC due to 2 years of ELC slide, he is waiver eligible. This means Washington has further bungled waiver eligibility with their players, and now both the resigning of Johansson and the signing of Gustafsson may mean Washington loses both Alexeyev and Leason to waivers.

Waivers go by games played OR season’s played, Alexeyev has 4 years of major league experience ( AHL or NHL ) so he’s waiver eligible

Yep, was confused by the actual age he was considered to be when he signed the ELC. Just got confused as he was considered 19 despite being 18 when he signed it.

He has a late birthday, so he signed at 18 but was turning 19 that year so he’s considered 19

Yeah, only 15 or so days away from being a non-issue. however, this whole situation could have been avoided if Washington didn't keep signing random veteran free agents that bring nothing to the team that current prospects didn't already possess in terms of talent.
Sheary might have a full time role on that line with dowd and Hathaway now. That line played so well last year when they played together. When Wilson comes back this team will be so fun to watch
Of course it would be until he is health. Not sure what to do about leason tho
Probably need to keep Leason and Jonsson-Fjallby (if he doesn't make the final lineup, was slotted in switching with MoJo which could be interesting) up and just risk Snively to waivers. Snives is the most likely to clear being waived, so I'd risk it with him before Leason/Jonsson-Fjallby. Only worry there is one of Protas/Lapierre/Borgstrom steals a spot and makes things far more complicated. We'll have to see.

I also say Gab Carlsson was making a name for himself and edging himself over LuJo

interesting. I wasn't expecting him to do much but if so, Washington has an even more interesting scenario at D. Having to send down 3 of Carlsson, Irwin, Gustafsson, Johansen, and Alexeyev gives further chances for MacLellan to send the wrong people down.

I mean, I’d send down Irwin, Gus and Johansen out of those 3
Habs, may. Not be the best, but it's one of the best
If everyone healthy
