Kinda crazy to give away good assets for cap space, and then trade for 4m DeBrusk. Tell us, why does Muzzin leave his "hometown" to play with the non playoff team Seattle.

Because with enough pressure he'll list the ntc, and kerfoot isn't worth his price tag and a 4M debrusk will...

Gonna cost more than Niemelä to drop 5.5 million in cap and receive a serviceable. youngish and cheap 3rd liner and a 3rd rounder

I see 4 not so good players added. Are the leads making a run for the fedex cup?

these are all so bad for the leafs, down grades all around on the ice and for futures, how on earth does this team win a round if the current one cant?

When will people learn that it is basically an unwritten rule that you can’t trade players you just signed as UFAs?

To trade Kampf makes no sense. They got him last season because Kerfoot and Engvall had proven they couldn't play the shutdown center role. Kampf filled the role perfectly and took most d-zone face-offs. He also was on the top PK with Marner and they were as good as any forward combo in the league.
