Probably gonna cost more then a second and solid prospect for some one you think is a top pair defensman. Not to mention LA is closer to contention then MTL, why are they trading a good, young, CHEAP dman for some futures without that great of upside?

Honestly I would like Durzi because he was a teammate with captain Suzuki during all junior time. I don't really know the price but I think that's not a bad one.

Kings decline, they are not in the market to move NHLers for prospects, their cupboards are already full. Besides if Durzi is your 1RD on a team-friendly contract you can see how much LA is the loser on this trade.

I think Durzi is worth a lot to the kings right now while they are Kopitar and Doughty are still making tons of money with these younger guys getting new contracts, deals like his are basically must keeps imo. Look at what the Hawks got for Hagel last year, clearly an over pay, but part of that was because of the cap flexibility his contract brings.

The only circumstance under which we'd trade Sean Durzi, for the reasons set forth by @tryger and @DangleCat, is in an exchange for an equally valuable LhD, like K'Andre Miller -- and you don't have one of those, although I can see some sort of deal for Kaiden Guhle.

I dont think the habs would entertain a ghule deal, although I agree with that being the cost, the kings arent just going to give Durzi away for spare parts. I'm not sure the habs are as concerned about adding a top end RD as people on here seem to think. I think Lundkvist is an option because he will come at a reasonable price.
Aside from that the habs will continue to be patient, with Barron up probably this year, Harris has the skating ability to play the right side if needed and Mailloux still as a potential RD in the future they dont need to make any rash trades.

I would love these deals for MTL if that was the cost, I don't think that will get us Durzi though (as everyone ahead of me has stated).

ya i could live with Norlinder and florida's first but i dont know if even that would get the kings on board, its always nice have an extra first (or rescent first round selection) come trade deadline to add a key piece for a run.

I honestly don't see Hughes trading our 1sts for anything less than the last missing piece, Durzi is worth the 1st but drafting that 1st is more beneficial to MTL and then we can try to find our top 4 D combos after this season/next season when some contracts come off the books.

If it were a future 1st then sure but that won't be sufficient for LA I'd imagine
