You are trolling if you think Weegar is signing that. It's already being widely reported that an extension in Calgary is almost done around 8x6.5M

I mean, Weegar is reportedly close to an extension with Calgary so I don't see him being signed and definitely not for a 4x5.

Love the idea of Peyton Krebs coming back home for a 1st Round Pick. Flames could always use another Centre Prospect

I have to admit, I'm not super stoked about signing another player into retirement. Tre is good at trading and resigning players, but has a terrible record of signing free agents: Brouwer, Neal, Coleman, now Kadri. Our roster will be geriatric in 4 years

Cap will go up quite significantly by then and we can start rebuilding in ~6 years. I personally don't have much issue with the length of the deals. Personally I wanted to avoid Kadri all together and go big for a center next year but too late for that now
