Description

Reports from today claim Lundkvist is furthering his trade request by not showing up to training camp. If what was previously reported is true about him wanting a secure role and power play time, Seattle could be in a position to offer him those things, given they are still a developing team.

As for the return package, the Rangers are apparently looking for a young center to grow with the team. Geekie isn't quite that, but he's close and a solid bottom-six contributor now with room to grow. Beniers and Wright would obviously fit that description the best, but there's no way GMRF is trading either of them.

Anyway, this is just a random idea I'm throwing out there! I'm curious to hear everyone's thoughts on whether Lundkvist would be a fit for Seattle and what it would take to trade for him!

You cant Give up on the Geek Squad yet I think Geekie Beniers and Wright could be dangerous all though I do see Kraken trading Geekie if he doesn't noticeably improve this season
