Colorado would have better things to do with a roster spot and capspace at the TDL than filling it with Poehling

Why not? Poehling hasn’t fulfilled his potential. He could become another Val Nichushkin for them. Still has potential to be a good two way player.

I wouldn't mind it as a prospect swap sort of trade. I just don't think it would be the sort of target the Avs would have in mind to boost depth for the playoffs.
