I mean verhaege was a 55 pt player last year. Canucks might do this Idk for sure though

Clearly Florida doesn't have the cap space to make this deal happen. Other reasons why this won't happen: OEL has a NMC, VAN won't retain on Garland for 4 years...oh and did I mention Florida doesn't have the cap space...

Florida would never do this and frankly the team is over the cap so whats the point of this?

they could trade Montour or Gudas. Also Duclair is projected to be out of the lineup until around March, so that clears 3 mill cap space for basically the whole year. Garland retained is a good deal, and OEL isn't incredible but he has some good years left as a top 4 D man and would probably help FLAs left side a lot, if he would waive his NMC. Trading Montour or Gudas would recoup assets and an effective 3rd pairing D can be picked up pretty easy.
