As Devils fan, I'd love Kyle Connor. But Hellebuyck probably helps us more.

We're not trading Barron when our RD depth is already barren.

Devils aren't trading both Holtz and the 2023 1st for anything short of an unbeatable offer

Barron is probably their top RHD. He's at worst a top4 and he could be a top pairing guy if he develops his offence.

They wont give up that package for PLDrama

The Jets aren't trading their number 1 and 2 centers and not getting a number 1 or 2 center back at this point in the off season.

They also have no reason to move Hellebuyck or Connor for returns that don't give the Jets comparable upside in return

If you're looking to trade Wheeler for nothing then just send him to Pittsburgh with retention for Zucker, Pettersson, Tristan Broz, and a 2024 3rd.

For the last time, why would habs do that when they get just wait 2 years.

They just traded for Dach who they hope will turn into PLD. If not, a 2 year window is long enough to figure out if he will or not. We do not want to trade for PLD!!!

Probably getting a topb5 pick this year anyways in a draft loaded with centres
